The 1st Bottesford Scout Group have celebrated the completion of their garden area, which has been re-vamped over a period of 12 months to provide a recreational space for communal campfires, skill development, gardening and outdoor activities.
We had a very successful year in 2022, during which we saw a full return to activity post-COVID. This has included our first Group camp at Ancaster Campsite, local scout camps in Bottesford and Orston, attendance at an international Scout jamboree in Lincolnshire, participating in group activity days, local visits, and a regular programme of varied activities for the children. We also put in good attendance at the Bottesford Remembrance service at St Mary's Church.
